I started coaching December of 2017 and initially was nervous and hesitant to coach because I didn’t think I would be good at it. After coaching for a year now, I am happy to be a coach and glad I took the opportunity. My favorite part of coaching is watching members become stronger by pushing themselves more than they thought possible. I love helping them change their form on a movement and seeing the “lightbulb” when the movement feels and looks better.
I have been doing CrossFit for 6 years and competing seriously for 2-3 years. It has shown me what it means to work hard for something, to train my mind, and to make my physical body the absolute best it can be as well as many other lessons.
Outside of the gym, I enjoy all things related to food and nutrition, hosting a Bible study group at our house, and spending time in the mountains snowboarding and camping.
